Quality Roofing is always excited to volunteer for a worthy cause. Recently, we were honored to be a part of a volunteer project to improve the campus of Austin Achieve, a charter school located in East Austin.

According to their website, Austin Achieve?s mission is to strategically locate their schools in East Austin, a neighborhood that hasn?t traditionally had access to a great educational opportunity in the community. They aim to prepare the youth of East Austin to excel at the nation?s top colleges and universities by setting high standards for student achievement through the adoption of a rigorous college preparatory curriculum and ensure academic success through wide-ranging intervention programs and support services.

Austin Achieve is only in its second year and they have been trying to improve their facilities in order to better serve their three hundred 6th & 7th graders. Quality Roofing was asked by the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA) to help with the weather and information center project. We donated the materials and labor to build the outdoor central hub of the campus – an information center for teachers to put announcements, post a map of the campus and create a weather hub. All the work for this project was done by donations and volunteer work.
